Richmond Operatic Society

"We feel the shows are worth travelling to see, and we have never been disappointed."
Richmond Operatic Society (ROS) is an amateur musical theatre group based in Richmond, North Yorkshire. Our first full production was put on in 1923 and we're still going strong.

We do musicals, Gilbert & Sullivan operettas, pantomimes and a few concerts for good measure, mostly at The Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmond, North Yorkshire.

Our spring production, Honk!, was very popular with our audiences. We're now taking a well-earned rest over the summer. Join us in August for The Wizard of Oz.
